New Associate Priest appointed

The Rev’d Gussie Walsh has been appointed to succeed Philip. Gussie and her husband Mark will move down from Penrith in Cumbria soon after Easter. The interview panel was unanimous in its decision and is very excited about the appointment. Thank you to all who have been praying – those prayers have certainly been answered.

The Christmas Gifts & Crafts Fayre

This was a very festive and fun afternoon, with lots of guest stalls as well as the return of favourites like the tombola, the cake stall and the raffle. Many thanks to the small but loyal band of volunteers who set it up beforehand and helped to clear away afterwards, as well as those who helped staff the stalls on the day. We raised over £630 for the church - well done, everyone!

The Book Club

The Book Club meets at 7.30 a.m. on the 2nd Monday of the month in Vicarage Road, and is open to anyone who enjoys a good read. We discuss a different book each time.  Check out Whaddon's Reading Room at  "thereadingplace.co.uk" or see Margaret Barrie or Nikki for details.
